I'm all about that Bass. I was just out playing with the band Goldfinger in the UK and Russia.
I went all the way to Moscow on this last tour comrades and I'm here to tell you, it's good to love what you do! If the travel doesn't kill you, the food will right? We stayed up all night and watched the sun grow high in the sky. Our hotel had a club at the top with absolutely no one in there. Needless to say I enjoyed the solitude and the Moscow skyline so early in the morning. I've been to Moscow at least 5 times now and it's always a little bit the same but always something new as well! I guess what I'm trying to say is, Moscow, I enjoy you.
Exciting times to say the least. I'm back on the home front. The good ole, the insane, these United States of A. And it's good to be home in Bremerton, WA. This coming weekend (June 12&13) MXPX have shows in Portland, OR and Vancouver B.C. supporting the punk band Screeching Weasel. I grew up on these guys, right after the Descendents, I must have worn out several of their cassettes.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The older I get, the more I appreciate my job. Playing bass. Here's some shots of my at Yotaspace in Moscow, Russia on May 30, 2015.
