We could have kept going and going. There's so many little trips from the early days of my musical career.  We mainly cover our first tour with Blenderhead and the early scene that MXPX was welcomed into in the U District of Seattle, WA.
I've known Bill for a long time. Many of the memories we had, and we had a lot, have become more and more opaque over time. Murky at best. As each day passes,  as time keeps marching relentlessly, our past does fade into a nothingness much like Marty McFly in one of the best movies of all time, Back to the Future was fading from his family photograph. That doesn't mean that time is absolute. It doesn't mean that you don't keep trying to play that guitar. It just means that time is relative. Relative to your situation and surroundings. In Marty's case his TIME was up but I won't ruin the ending for you (wink wink).
Let's move on. Let's have another spoonful of sugar in a cup of coffee with an already free-standing spoon. Yes, bring it on I say. I don't even take sugar in my coffee. Let's move on.

This conversation helped bring back some of those lost and disconnected years where we were running a thousand miles every couple days and it's all a blur. If I ever wonder, "Did all that really happen?" All I need to do is pick up the phone and call Bill or any number of guys from back in those early Tooth and Nail days. I've lost touch with nearly all of them. This was the closest I've been to going back there. But I don't wanna go back, I just wanna learn from it. And if remembering through conversations and stories is your thing. Have a listen and maybe you'll remember something from long gone forgotten past times too. I know I did.

This is a classic pic. Billy is up onstage singing at the Velvet Elvis in Seattle, WA. Musta been early to mid 90's. Check out Yuri there with an MxPx shirt on. I wore that same blue jacket to the Lagwagon/Strungout show that I saw in that same room. Same day I got my Pokinatcha Punk tattoo.  Both Andy and Tom are standing right next to each other. Tom wasn't in the band yet. We were babies.
